Matthew K. Glazer is an associate in the Coeur d’Alene office of Lukins & Annis. He first joined the firm as a summer associate in 2025, where he worked on a variety of litigation and transactional matters before returning to the firm as an attorney.
Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, where he served on the Seattle University Law Review and held leadership roles with the Student Bar Association, Entertainment & Sports Law Association, and Business & Entrepreneurship Law Association. During law school, he received several academic and advocacy honors, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing, Skills & Values II, the Byron Scott End of Year Achievement Scholarship Award, and the Laurel Currie Oates Scholarship Award.
Matthew’s legal experience spans civil and employment litigation, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and general business matters. In addition to his time with Lukins & Annis, he worked with Bean Law Group, an employment law firm, and Fox Ballard PLLC, a medical malpractice defense firm. He also completed a legal externship with Seattle Sounders FC and Reign FC, where he gained exposure to sports-related legal and business matters. Across these roles, Matthew conducted legal research, drafted pleadings and motions, assisted with discovery and case development, reviewed commercial agreements, and analyzed regulatory and compliance issues.
While at Seattle University, Matthew served as a research assistant to Professor Michael Blasie, participated in the nonprofit tax clinic, and volunteered with Communities Rise, an organization that supports small businesses and nonprofits. His law review article, Rewriting the Playbook: The X’s and O’s of the House Settlement and the Future of Student-Athletes’ Voice in Their Compensation, was published in the Seattle University Law Review.
Before law school, Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, cum laude, with a minor in Economics from Syracuse University. He also worked in the legal field as a lateral partner recruiting coordinator for K&L Gates LLP and as an administrative assistant for Perkins Coie.
Outside the office, Matthew enjoys golf, weightlifting, hiking, and skiing. He is a lifelong Seattle sports fan and successfully summited Mount Rainier as part of a fundraiser benefiting the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
