In 2020, Lukins & Annis and Gonzaga University School of Law created an endowment scholarship for Gonzaga Law School students. This scholarship honors founders Gene Annis and Scott Lukins’ legacy of a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness in education, housing, employment, and the legal profession.
Founded in 1972, Lukins & Annis serves the legal needs of clients all over the Pacific Northwest, with offices in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, and Moses Lake.
The Lukins & Annis Law, Ethics and Commerce Scholarship was created with a specific goal to advance diversity, inclusion, and minority representation in the Pacific Northwest legal community. Jerilyn Pringle will now be the sixth recipient of this scholarship. Jerilyn has also accepted a summer internship at the firm.
Jerilyn has strong ties to the Pacific Northwest and is a “double Zag” having graduated from Gonzaga University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Law, and Public Policy before coming to Gonzaga Law School. In addition to excelling in her coursework (graduating magna cum laude and then receiving several academic scholarships and awards in her first year of law school), Jerilyn is passionate about developing her professional skills so that she can become a trusted legal resource for her community someday. She spent the past summer working in Gonzaga’s Elder Law Clinic where she walked clients through challenging legal processes with care and clarity. She looks forward to bringing her trademark care, clarity, and empathy to her summer associate position with Lukins & Annis.
The firm is thrilled with the selection of Jerilyn as this year’s scholarship recipient and is excited to have her join as a summer associate in 2026.
This scholarship program is organized through Gonzaga Law’s Center for Law, Ethics and Commerce (CLEC). Established in 2006, CLEC offers students interdisciplinary programming in business, technology, and innovation – all with an eye toward the public good. Congratulations, Jerilyn!
