Nancy Purcell
PRACTICE AREAS
- Estate Planning and Probate: Preparation of Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives and trust documents; preparation of court forms for probates and for the transfer of assets in an estate; research and preparation of various federal and state, estate and gift tax returns, including Forms 706 and 1041.
- Business: Preparation of due diligence reports related to business acquisitions, primarily in leveraged ESOP transactions; experience in assisting firm business attorneys in formation of corporations and LLC's and related matters.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Nancy began her legal experience working in a corporate legal department as well as in private legal firms. For the last 26 years, she has worked primarily as a paralegal in the area of estate planning and probate. Nancy has recently expanded her expertise to the general business practice area. She joined Lukins & Annis in 1995 along with several attorneys from another firm.

- Associate Degree in Court and Conference Reporting
- Continuing Legal Education seminars in estate planning and probate as well as business and corporation seminars.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Has worked on significant and complex probate cases, with one estate valued in excess of $18 million
- Has filed estate tax returns involving complicated generation skipping tax issues, as well as returns using special use valuation.
