Bill Jeckle is an Of Counsel member of our firm. He focuses his practice on procurement of Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Intellectual Property Matters, formation of business entities and general business matters. He is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is licensed to practice law in Washington and Idaho.

Bill brings a diverse background to his practice. He is an inventor and patent holder as well as an entrepreneur. He invented and patented a shaped lamp, US 4,115,385 and invented a toy called Kinder Timber that children can use indoors to create and build structures of all sorts.

He previously served as an executive of Regence Northwest Health where he was involved with creating forward thinking health care strategies within the plethora of regulations and special interests that dominate health care.

Bill focuses his practice on the procurement of mechanical and chemical patents, drafting patent application, preliminary novelty searches, search reports, infringement analysis, licensing and general counseling on Intellectual Property matters. Bill has obtained patents on a wide variety of products, including outdoor camping gear, storage systems, UV light reactive compositions and a variety of other products and processes used by consumers and in industry.

Bill graduated from Washington State University and subsequently obtained his J.D. at Gonzaga University. He is also Adjunct Professor at Eastern Washington University in the school of Engineering and Design.

He is an avid traveler. He enjoys skiing and golf and he survived Running with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
